Insurance & Payment
What it costs
Cost stops people getting care more often than anything else. Here is what we can tell you up front.
Insurance
Credentialing is currently in progress. Applications have been submitted to the plans below, and this page is updated as each one is approved. Until a plan is confirmed, visits are self-pay at the rates shown here.
- Medicare
- Medicaid
- Cigna
- MedCost
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Tricare
If you do not see your insurance listed, please ask — this list changes as applications are approved.
Self-pay rates
- Initial comprehensive psychiatric evaluation (60 minutes)
- $250
- Follow-up medication management (20–30 minutes)
- $150
Self-pay is a legitimate choice, not a fallback. Some patients prefer it precisely because it keeps their care out of an insurance record.
Payment options
- Cash, Visa, Mastercard and debit cards are accepted
- Payment is handled through the patient portal
- Payment plans are not offered
- HSA and FSA payments are handled through the patient portal
Superbills
Superbills for out-of-network reimbursement are available to patients through the patient portal.
A superbill is an itemised receipt you submit to your insurer yourself. Whether they reimburse, and how much, is between you and your plan — we can't promise an outcome there.
Not sure about your coverage?
Call your insurer and ask about outpatient mental health benefits, your deductible, and whether we're in network. Or call us at 252-316-9145 — we'd rather answer that than have you not come.
